The Next Step
  • KnowledgeWorker® does not rely on any proprietary technology. The server-based system has been developed using Microsoft COM and ASP technologies used by most web based systems. By using an object based architecture to represent the business logic and standard HTML for the user interface the system can easily be re-configured for specific requirements without compromising the integrity of the 'out-of-the-box' product.

  • A web browser is all that is required to access the information you need, thus a great many different operating platforms can be supported including all versions of Windows, MacOS, Unix and more - even hand held and mobile telephone devices.

  • You only need to maintain the server and not the clients since they only use a web browser.

  • KnowledgeWorker® uses industry standard products and the most widely implemented technologies for delivering its services at all levels, storage (NT or Unix), database (SQL Server or Oracle), network (TCP/IP) and presentation (HTML) - technologies already implemented at the heart of many organisations infrastructure.

  • The web browser provides a universally familiar way of finding and viewing information - this reduces the need for costly training and support costs.

  • Once the server is up and running, a user need only be given the URL to the server and you are ready to go - regardless of whether it is one user or a thousand users.
