KnowledgeWorker® supports most of the industry standard scanning applications and software systems such as; Abbyy, Adobe and Kofax.
The chances are, if you are already using scanning software, KnowledgeWorker® will be able to work with it.
In addition to the traditional scanning systems, Datum International are pleased to now be able to offer a much faster and more sophisticated (yet simpler to use) scanning system.
KnowledgeWorker® now has support for every major manufacturer’s Multi-Function Device (MFD) which allows high speed scanning, emailing, copying and faxing from a single device.
Documents can be loaded into the machine hopper and scanned at speeds of more than 1 document per second.
The scanned file is then automatically converted into a PDF and uploaded into the KnowledgeWorker® repository without human intervention.

Once inside KnowledgeWorker® the document is automatically indexed and becomes fully searchable.
However, this is only half the story. KnowledgeWorker® is also able to capture information direct from the device keyboard and/or from the
scanned document itself, and then use this information to initiate a KnowledgeWorker® business workflow process.
